The wiring diagram of electronic flasher above shows the use of four NAND gates contained within the integrated circuit 74HC132 (can be replaced by the 74LS132). The three first gates IC1-A, IC1-B and IC1-C are used in oscillator stage whose frequency is determined by the values of C1, R1 and R2, the third IC1-D is mounted as an inverter to flash the LED DL1 and DL2.
