About a year ago I promised my nephew that I would build a remote control boat for him. I thought I would have learnt radio controls when I did my Diploma in EEET but I was wrong. He keeps asking me about it and I really want to do it but, I have no knowledge on building radio controlled electronic circuits.

Also visit your local Hobby store to find out about radio controlled models. Transmitters, servos, receivers and batteries are all available. Books are harder to come by. George Steiner of Sacramento used to sell a journal about radio control that was pretty comprehensive.
